8/20/18: U.S. Senate Candidate Phil Bredesen & Political Analyst Pat Nolan

Rotary Club of Nashville is excited to host a Town Hall / Conversation with the Candidate forum today with Senate hopeful, Phil Bredesen.  Political Analyst and Senior Vice President at DVL Seigenthaler Public Relations Pat Nolan will host the conversation using questions submitted by members of the Rotary Club in the areas of healthcare, immigration, education, and workforce development.

Phil Bredesen is a former governor, mayor and CEO who spent his business career in the healthcare industry.  He grew up in rural Shortsville, N.Y., and earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Harvard University. He and his wife Andrea Conte moved to Tennessee in 1975. Bredesen was elected in 2002 and re-elected in 2006 — becoming the first governor in Tennessee history to win all 95 counties.  He is an avid outdoorsman, is a licensed pilot and enjoys painting as a hobby.

NOTE – Our program committee invited both candidates, Marsha Blackburn and Phil Bredesen, for this U.S. Senate Town Hall / Conversation with the Candidates program.  Congressman Blackburn had a long-standing commitment that prevents her participation.  We are working with her team to secure another date for the same type of program.
