Monday, June 13: Vanderbilt Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos

A distinguished legal scholar and teacher, Nicholas S. Zeppos was named Vanderbilt University’s eighth chancellor in 2008. In those eight years, he has been the guiding force in such transformative efforts as the establishment of the university’s unique living-learning residential college system, a $50 million trans-institutional research and teaching initiative, and an expanded financial aid program that replaces undergraduate need-based loans with grant and scholarship assistance.

Chancellor Zeppos will provide an update on the university, including its remarkable trajectory over the past several years, his diversity and inclusion initiatives, and the recent restructuring of Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a separate, non-profit entity from the university.
