Colonel Michael Manning is program manager of Infantry Weapons Systems, for Marine Corps Systems Command.
Manning is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal with two gold stars and combat V, the Purple Heart Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon with gold star.
From Sept. 7–11, Marine Week Nashville will feature hands-on static displays, live demonstrations, time-honored Marine Corps traditions, musical performances and other events to showcase the history, military capabilities and community involvement of the Corps.
Marine Week, hosted by the United States Marine Corps in one city per year, is a celebration of Community, Country and Corps – providing the American public the experience of directly connecting with hundreds of Marines.
