12/5/16: Marjorie Eastman, The Frontline Generation: How We Served Post 9/11

Marjorie Eastman earned her BA in political science at the University of California, San Diego; her MA in international security at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies; and her MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University.

She has served as White House Intern, studied at University College London, School for Slavonic and East European Studies, and was an FBI’s Honors Graduate Intern.

Eastman enlisted in the US Army Reserve after 9/11, and served for ten years as an Intelligence Officer and Commander.

She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and also in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.

Ranked the number one military intelligence company commander in Eastern Afghanistan for the deployment cycle of 2009–2010, Marjorie was awarded the Bronze Star, and received the Combat Action Badge.

Marjorie has a decade of experience specializing in business operations and development, change management, and Executive Leadership. Marjorie lives in Tennessee with her husband (also a soldier), and their son, Henk.
