5/21/18: Steve Brandon, Wildlife Photographer
Rotarian Steve Brandon (member, Armory MS Rotary Club), is semi-retired and works as an organizational management consultant. He has photographed wildlife on all 7 continents, from Polar Bears in the Arctic, to the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands on the Equator, to Penguins in Antarctica. He speaks dozens of time annually on wildlife and conservation to civic clubs, schools, and wildlife interest groups.
This program, Rwanda and the Mountain Gorillas, focuses on the people of Rwanda and their conservations efforts and success in the rebuilding the Mountain Gorilla population of Rwanda.
Last year, The Nashville Rotary Club in conjunction with the Nashville Public Library arranged and sponsored the donation and shipment 15 boxes of school books to a Kigali, Rwanda school. As part of the program, Conso Kabanyana, Assistant Headmistress of The Camp Kigali School, and her husband, Rwandan wildlife guide Alex Kagaba will be joining Steve to discuss and answer questions about the school and the Mountain Gorillas.”
