We are hosting Rotary Large Club Conference!

In January 2017, the Rotary Club of Nashville will host the North American Large Club Conference meeting at the Omni Hotel in downtown Nashville.

This is a significant event for our Club, and the first time we have hosted this meeting of incoming officers of the largest Rotary Clubs and their executive directors. This annual meeting attracts more than 160 community and Rotary leaders from an estimated 75 markets in the United States and Canada.

The dates of the conference are Jan. 22-25, 2017, and we are already at work planning a great program with the theme “Leadership: Awareness. Insight. Action.,” and special evening events at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the City Winery. Rotarian Liz Allen Fey is designing our major plenary and breakout sessions, which will be moderated by Nashville Rotarians.

For our Club to show off the nation’s “It City” and stage a successful event, we need your help. We’ll need dozens for volunteers throughout the conference; corporate funding to offset some of the expenses associated with the conference; and other resources that you or your organization may be able to provide.

In the next few weeks, we’ll be contacting many of you individually to ask for your support of the Large Club Conference, and you’ll be hearing more about our plans and how you can help us make this the best Large Club Conference ever.
