08/15/16: Jon Robinson
Since his arrival as general manager of the Tennessee Titans in January, 2016, Jon Robinson has overseen one of the more dramatic off-season’s in recent franchise history as the team traded for RB DeMarco Murray from the Philadelphia Eagles; jumped into free agency, signing WR Rishard Matthews, C Ben Jones, S Rashad Johnson, CB Brice McCain, CB Antwon Blake and LB Sean Spence; and traded the number one overall selection in the NFL Draft to the Los Angeles Rams for multiple selections in this past year’s and next year’s draft.
Robinson spent the two previous seasons as director of player personnel with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent his first 12 years in the NFL as a coach and college scout in the New England Patriots’ organization.
