6/11/18: Coach Mike Vrabel, Tennessee Titans

Mike Vrabel became the Titans head coach earlier this year, after serving as defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans. Vrabel is a native of Akron, Ohio, and played college football at Ohio State University, where he was a first-team All-American his senior year, and was named to Ohio State’s “all-century team” in 2000.

He played in the NFL for 13 years, most of that as a linebacker with the New England Patriots, where he was a three-time Super Bowl Champion. He entered coaching in 2011 at Ohio State, before moving to the Texans’ staff in 2014 as linebacker coach, before becoming defensive coordinator.  Vrabel joins Titans General Manager Jon Robinson, another veteran of the Patriots’ organization, in taking the reins of the Titans, who finished the 2017 season with a 9-7 record and a trip to the Playoffs.
